PROBLEM:
Primeon began operations as a small company called Millenium Technologies. When they were first establishing an office, they needed a quick e-mail solution for their employees. They already had a relationship with an ISP, but only had a limited number of mailboxes. They wanted all their employees to have e-mail addresses, and return addresses containing their company domain name. They also wanted to give employees a wide choice of POP e-mail clients.
SOLUTION:
We evaluated various E-mail server solutions, and chose a MDaemon for Windows NT. We worked with the ISP to have all messages for the company domain routed to a single mailbox, then installed and configured MDaemon to download mail from that mailbox and route messages to the appropriate employee. We tested several POP e-mail clients with the MDaemon server and documented setup and usage instructions for employees.
